FP Markets were undertaking a digital transformation program that would streamline operational processes and achieve new market growth. The program would require development of new platforms and marketing sites aimed at consolidating decentralised systems used to manage financial markets trading. The platforms would need to leverage multiple third party applications and provide a seamless user experience to internal customer support teams and end users simultaneously.
The world of financial trading is complex for the uninitiated and this meant that we needed to dive below the surface to build tools which streamline processes and provide a seamless experience. The platforms leverage multiple complex third party systems (with varying levels of integration knowledge share available), requiring security and scalability considerations to be front of mind. From a user interface perspective the data presentation layer was heavily table driven and multi-layered, which created many responsive design challenges to be resolved.
